Technical Animator

Technical Animator

Job description

Reporting to the technical lead, the technical animator will support multiple ongoing projects. The candidate is strong at multitasking, can manage priorities of different concurrent projects and is solution oriented.


  • Works daily with proprietary pipelines to build scenes for animators (includes body tracking, data solving, integration, etc.)
  • Body retargeting
  • Scene exports
  • Troubleshoot
  • Any tasks related to technical animation


  • 2+ years’ experience in gaming, VFX, or similar development environment
  • Experience with Maya, Motion Builder (required)
  • Experience with Animation (required)
  • Experience with Rigging (preferred)
  • Shotgun, Perforce, 3Ds Max (preferred)
  • Team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Eye for detail, initiative, and excellent organizational skills

This role may also lead to task related to motion capture shoot.

Training will be provided for in-house pipelines and tools.
